I knew that Valencia is a popular city of Spain, that is very touristic and nice to visit, but I didn't know it had these great and modern museums. Before we chose to visit Valencia, I did some research about the city and the pictures that came out everywhere where the ones of the City of Arts and Sciences, and as soon as I saw I knew I wanted to visit this city. Beside the buildings being amazing, all the installations, activities and shows are very entertaining and educative. It's a great place to visit no matter your age, but make sure you have at least one day to enjoy this place, because is very big and every building has a lot to see. I hope you like my photos of Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències :)
When we visit a new city or country, we see everything with fresh eyes and differently from the local people. This is a great advantage for when we want to capture pictures with a diffrent perspective or view. This blog shows the life that I experience through the lens of my camera.

Batalla de las Flores (Flower Battle)
During the days that I was in Valencia, I had the opportunity to see a nice event, which is called La Batalla de las Flores (in english: Battle of flowers). The event starts with a parade of horses with their riders in costumes and flower floats with girls and women in costumes as well and holding rackets. Once all the flower floats pass and they give the prices to the winners, the flower floats make another circle but this time they are being attacked by the public, who are throwing flowers at them. The girls and women on the flower floats, have their rackets to protect their faces against the flowers and also to strike back at the public, hence why it is named: battle of flowers. Once the parade is finished, a lot of spectators (specially kids) go in the field to fight with the flowers that are on the floor. I tried to select a good variety of photos to show you what I just explained and what I saw, I hope you can understand the event with the help of my photos and that you like them :)

Valencia, Spain
As I said in my last post, that I will be posting this week everyday a different city that I visited during my vacation. My third stop was Valencia, this is where I stayed the longest time and since it was a city full of life and activities I will divide the city in a couple of posts. The one of today (the first one) is just to have an overlook of the city. I hope you like them :)

Millau
This summer I had the great chance to go on a road trip and visit 4 beautiful cities, which are: Paris, Millau, Valencia, and Lyon. I will post photos of each city except for Paris because the weather wasn't that great and I'm not that happy with the results. Although I took a lot of photos in each city I visited, I am only posting the ones that caught my attention the most. I decided that the best thing was for me to divide the posts in cities, which I'll be posting one everyday. So I'm going to start with our second stop (Paris being the first) Millau (France) and some photos that I took on the way to Millau. This small but charming city, has the tallest bridge in the world and of course that is what I'm focusing on. I hope you enjoy the photos :)
