A Casual Visit to Italy - Great dishes

The food in Italy was of course amazing! The day that we went to Parma, we stopped in a small village called Fidenza to eat in a delicious family restaurant that served typical food from the region. To be honest words cannot explain how amazing these dishes were and unfortunately I was very hungry at the moment so I couldn't take photos of all the food. Here are four photos to delight you a little and maybe make you want to visit as well :)

Octopus dish in Milan (Restaurant owned by people from Sardinia)

Gnocco Fritto (from Fidenza)

To eat with the gnocco fritto we got a charcuterie platter

Amazing linguini with ragu salame

A Casual Visit to Italy - Bergamo

These are the photos from Bergamo, and although the weather that day wasn't the best, I must say we had a nice day. It was rainy most of the time but a few minutes before leaving the city, the sun came out and the rainbow that appeared was just beautiful. I had a very long time without seeing a rainbow so I was definitely happy. Bergamo has some nice open spaces, but what I liked the most was the very narrow paths one can find when walking around, so of course there are a couple of photos from this. Anyways, here are the photos I thought were the best from this trip and there are two at the end with the rainbow. Hope you like them :)

A Casual Visit to Italy - Parma

Hello again! First of all I would like to admit that I cannot believe how long it's been since I posted something in my blog. Let me clarify that is not because I didn't have anything to publish or I wasn't into my blog anymore. The reason is because the last term of this school year was a bit hectic and specially the last weeks, but fortunately school year is done so I can once again get back on track with my photography and this blog :) So in the month of April, I went to Milan for a long weekend and stayed over some family. Since I've been to Milan a couple of times already, we took some trips in the weekend to see other cities. I'm going to post photos from Parma, Bergamo and some amazing food I had. Although I only have a few photos of what I ate, I still feel that I should share them. To not make it confusing I will post those 3 events in 3 different posts. First I'm going to start with Parma, which I must say is a beautiful city and the colors of the houses and buildings and their windows definitely inspired me. I hope I can transmit to you the charm of the city and that you like them :)
